I'm a hands-on marketing executive with a proven track record of preparing startups for IPO or acquisition, including restructuring early stage resources into solidly performing teams. I specialize in developing and executing market strategies that grow customer base and revenue, and create and strengthen brand presence for startups and established companies. And excel in building and managing teams that drive measurable results, lead generation and customer acquisition.
I started my career in sales, giving me an intimate look at how customers really perceive marketing, and how to develop effective tools and lead generation programs for a sales force. I then went to Apple and was on the team driving Apple's networking and communications products into the SMB and enterprise markets. I developed the highly acclaimed Apple Consultants Network, that partners systems consultants with Apple and the field sales force allowing Apple to penetrate the enterprise market. Following my heart to the Internet, I was on the core team to create Apple's online service eWorld, as well as the precursor to www.apple.com.
The last fifteen years have been focused on start-ups, from early stage to growth, in a variety of markets. My strengths include my ability to get up to speed quickly, a focus on results, deep experience in all facets of marketing, insistence on quality, and the ability to think strategically as well as execute.
I am a Philadelphia native, a Boston sojourner, and now a bona fide Californian!
